Ankh

I can’t remember when exactly I saw this symbol for the first time. It could be in some history books at Egypt section. Later on I remember seeing Ankh in Ultima game series (where it was presented most often with Avatar, as well as virtue of spirituality) and hanging as a necklace at Neil Gaiman’s Death character (who I have crush on :)). By that time I found out the usual meaning of this symbol – life. In Cairo I saw ancient carvings, hieroglyphs and statues about Ankh. And somewhere there I just sensed what it was all about. Then back at home I started reading Wikipedia about Ankh and it lead into fascinating story that confirmed everything. Through the history several people all around the world have opened the box of the biggest mystery of all time – themselves. Ankh is pointing out into reality, a key into yourself with few other deep messages coded into it.

If reader is interested about reading the magnificent story starting from Ankh then I suggest reading (and being able to deal with metaphors & ignore the non-essential) at least the following titles from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org):

  • Ankh
  • Hermeticism
  • Hermetism
  • Hermes_Trismegistus
  • The Corpus Hermeticum
  • Rosicrucianism
  • Ancient_Mystical_Order_Rosae_Crucis

All is one, all is from the One.
