No regrets

Today I was reading an interview of one female poker player, Isabelle Mercier. Few years ago she gave up her good job as a casino manager, sold & gave away what she owned and become professional poker player without permanent address. What I found most interesting in her interview was the comment she said at the end: "We have talked a lot about my choices, risks and radical decisions. From my point of view things are very simple: people must follow their hearts. So many people are unsatisfied with their lives and their jobs but they think they do not have a choice. I read from somewhere that 90 percent of people regret things before they die. Most often things are about what they did not do. I am pretty sure that I am part of that 10 percent who do not regret anything. I try to live every day like it's the last day and get as much as I can from it."

So how about you, reader of this blog. Are you part of that 90% or that 10% ?

No regrets.

Someone has said "there are no mistakes in life, only things to learn from." and I fully agree.

Life offers a lot of opportunities... the opportunity to make friends... opportunities to laugh...

but REGRET? yes perhaps.."shrugs my shoulders".. life never stops there...
as Helen Rowland says:
The follies which a man regrets most in his life, are those which he didn't commit when he had the opportunity. ~

Yes, I followed my heart to quit my nine to five job and write. It has been difficult, but it is the best choice I have ever made because I have faith in the Universe that provides for me, and it still does since money is still in existence.
