No regrets

Today I was reading an interview of one female poker player, Isabelle Mercier. Few years ago she gave up her good job as a casino manager, sold & gave away what she owned and become professional poker player without permanent address. What I found most interesting in her interview was the comment she said at the end: "We have talked a lot about my choices, risks and radical decisions. From my point of view things are very simple: people must follow their hearts. So many people are unsatisfied with their lives and their jobs but they think they do not have a choice. I read from somewhere that 90 percent of people regret things before they die. Most often things are about what they did not do. I am pretty sure that I am part of that 10 percent who do not regret anything. I try to live every day like it's the last day and get as much as I can from it."

So how about you, reader of this blog. Are you part of that 90% or that 10% ?

Back

I keep saying
The same thing
Day after day:
Life is good.

No more
Feelings like
Depression,
Loneliness or
Regret -
Just acceptance
For everything
Even for loss
Of such emotions.

Desires,
Fears and
Attachments need
No worrying,
Nor destruction.
Awareness with acceptance
Is the middle path.

I do not know
If the circle
Has been completed
Or if I'm going
Zigzag instead.
It does not matter
As my heart
Is smiling.
